So when is the best time to lay new turf in a new build house ?.

RHS advises that the best time to lay turf is in mid autumn and early winter …..whenever the ground is not too wet or frosty

Yes it can be laid all year round but it’s going to take some looking after in the summer …with regards watering and there’s a risk of frost in the extreme of winter
