I’ve been made aware that 60 days after the enactment of the Building Safety Act 2022, 26th April 2022 – the enforcement by the local authority of the Building Regulations will become possible for illegal works carried out within the last ten years.
So that means wherever unauthorised or non-compliant building work is/has/was carried out, for the next ten years corrective works, may be ordered by the local building control authority.

Remember innocent parties like existing home owners can now sue their architect, builder or installer for illegal and non-compliant controlled building works done to their homes which has made their home unfit during the past 30 years.
This will help stop building control shrugging thier shoulders saying they cannot do anything
