Statutory Rights for Internet Purchases
New Build Inspections adheres to The Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000 regarding the protection of consumers in respect of distance contracts. Through this regulation, customers in the EU have the statutory right to withdraw from the purchase of a service from the New Build Insepctions web site within seven working days of making a payment. This is known as the cooling off period. Where New Build Inspections has provided services before the usual seven working day cooling off period expires, the customer loses the right to cancel under the terms of The Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000.
